This look was my way to welcome the autumn...but now we almost have to say goodbye to it cause these days it really feels like winter in Oxford! We had these photos look from a couple of weekends ago and it was starting to get fresh but it was still nice, the season was changing and when this happens I always have that positive feeling of a fresh start. The outfit is simple and very functional but I think a good spring coat always adds a bit of sophistication, even more if you pair it with a nice bag. I keep saying the magical thing about Oxford are those hidden spots that you tend to overlook when you are rushing around, and this one is definitely one of them. I like to think this beautiful door is the secret entrance to an enchanted garden full of trees, plants and autumn colours.

To really get to know someone you just need that crazy and electric connection. You know someone when deep inside you feel you have been a part of their whole life without having really been. To know where someone is coming from you need to walk on the streets that saw them grow up, their school, their grandma’s house...you need to listen to the music they used to listen to when they were 16, and walk through those streets they used to walk by on their way back home from a very long night....you need to do this to realise they are yours, and you are theirs, and the only thing that matters is the here and now.
Top Shop shirt and dress. Adidas Stan Smith and Loewe vintage bag.
And, of course, the checked blazer had to come. I am looking for a gray checked blazer, who is not these days? But in the meantime I had to rescue this one from Zara that I've had for probably more than 5 years. In the middle of all this checked fever this burgundy one had to make it back to the spotlight. We all know fashion is all about resurrection and reinvention and as much as with some items resurrection might seem unthinkable, I‘ve came to the conclusion there is no exception to this rule when I discovered myself thinking elastic lycra boots are so cool that I almost like them again. Any suggestions for my gray checked blazer hunt? I saw a few that I like a lot but still didn't fall in love.
Zara total look, Boch belt and vintage bag.
Some looks just need a touch of colour to be good enough, and the combination of jeans, white top and black leather jacket is definitely one of them. These red booties always end up being the star of the outfit and it's because they are just perfect colour, shape and have the right heel to be cool but comfy enough. I like to wear them with this leather jacket for a bit of a rock'n roll spirit and the Oxford skatepark makes always a good photo spot.
Mango leather jacket, Zara top and jeans, Marta Jonson booties and Loewe bag.
